How does it work?

    To sign in:
  1) Click SIGN IN on the side bar
2) Complete the form. It is important to remember your password in order to log in in the future.
3) Send the data, and the system will take you in immediately.

 

    To log in:
  1) Write your nickname in the USER blank and write your password in the corresponding blank.
2) Click LOG IN 		 

    Using the system:
  The interface has 4 components

1   title and publicity
  It is not an interactive area  

2   friends list
  Names of friends on line will be shown on bold letters. Names of friends off line will be shown in itallics.
To send a message, click on the user's name; a message window will appear, where you can write the text and send it regardless of his satus (on/off line).
When you see the letters msg appear by the name of a friend, this means that there is a message for you. Click on msg and it will pop up on your screen.
  

3   functions applicable to the list

to chat with another user. To start a chat, select the user by clicking on the white dot beside the user's name and then click on the CHAT button. Write the text on the bottom part of the window and press ENTER.
Your text will appear in the upper part of the window and so will the answer of your friend. to read sent and received messages from a user. Select a user and then click in.

to send an e-mail to a user (not in use yet)
to change friend's data, for instance the name on your list (not in use yet)
permite to add friends to your list. Click on ADD FRIENDS and a window will pop up asking for data in order to search for users. All data are optional. The lesser the data, the wider the search. The results appear on a list. In order to add one, use the selector first and then click on ADD USER.

to delete a user from your list (you also get deleted of his). Select the user and then click on REMOVE.

to keep your personal information updated. You can change your password and all your data. In the future, it will be also possible to personalize the EcMess look: colour, font size, etc.
